Built in the late nineteenth century, this is the fifth-oldest zoo in the country, withmore than 150 animals in residence, including big cats, bears, and wolves. The Carousel Museum,next door, houses one of Binghamton’s prettiest carousels.

"Great petting zoo and carousel too"
I wasn't sure how I would entertain my 6 month old for a full week in Binghamton, NY but I did it! One of the places we went was Ross Park. The zoo is great for a smaller city zoo. They had jungle cats, a rainforest exhibit and a great petting zoo. Just outside the gates is a carousel. We loved it!
