"Authentic Country Market"
Roots Farmers Market is the place to go for all your produce, breads, meats, cheese, plants, and many other things. The prices beat the grocery store for sure and it is an experience just to go, walk around and take it all in. You're sure to find some yummy homemade treat to enjoy as you stroll. Very large variety of things offered.

"A real slice of Lancaster County"
Many visitors to Lancaster County visit the Central Market in Lancaster. The Central Market is cramped, noisy and overpriced since it has become a tourist trap. Just a 15-20 minute drive west in Manheim, PA is the Roots Country Market and Auction. It is much more family friendly and much mroe authentic to the Lancaster County lifestyle.
Roots ahs an indoor market filled year round with small shops, food stands, Amish bakeries, butchers and more produce than you can imagine. In the warm months there is a thriving outdoor market as well where you can buy fresh squeezed lemonade or freshly baked pies directly from Amish farmers. And the prices can't be beat!
Make sure to buy some #10 apples from Stoudt's Apple stand and grab a delicious and huge bbq sandwich from the large smoking pit in teh centrer with the long line! It's well worth it. With over 200 vendors, you'll find whatever you're looking for and more.
