Ron Jon's surf shop really is a timeless classic. Fun for the whole family, this super center of surf shops will have you wondering for hours. From surf boards to classic Ron Jon's tees. Great stuff for memories of your Florida trip. Even though it has become a bit of a tourist trap, every single local loves it and has been a million times.
My family and I went this summer when we went to Cocoa beach. We have heard so much great things about this shop so we wanted to check it out too! It was very fun to go in and check things out but it was way too expensive! A shirt was no cheaper than $20.00. I got my mom a basic keychain and it was $7.00! I also found a very nice baithing suit I loved but it was $60.00! I would go back to look around because it was fun and different.
This place is (like I said) HUGE! They really have everything you could ever need at the beaches there including a lot of touristy things like tshirts and seashells. We were able to pick up a good bundle of sand castle "supplies" that came in it own Ron Jon tote that was a decent price.
The advertising on the drive down from Atlanta sure worked. My kids were quite excited to see we were only down the block from Ron Jon's and wanted to stop in. There was plenty of parking (but we were there on Dec 26th). The kids loved looking at all the beach souvenirs. Unfortunately, we had no luck finding a swimsuit decent for a pre-teen there. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
This was a huge store which the kids liked. They aren't surfers but regardless, if you temp them, they will find something to buy. They found some clothing and a few other souvenirs. This is just a store with a cool image. It's another tourist trap. If you have teens, they will probably want to stop in.
I went here the last time I was in Florida, and I didn't want to leave! They have so many cool things for sale, and a very fun atmosphere. I forgot to get my sticker for my car, but I compensated with another location! I want to take the kids here next time we are down that way, after we enjoy a day a tthe beach!
Surf’s up—about as up as it gets in Florida—at Cocoa Beach and vicinity. Much of the area’s surfing reputation is based on the looming, visually loud presence of Ron Jon; it’s the cathedral of water sports. The park around it displays ten sand sculptures of beach sports.
