Camping with two kids, eight adults, one baby and a puppy.
We set off for an overnight adventure for all ages. We explored the nearby paths and forest. Showed the kids plants and animals, talked about rocks, mountains, and the earth's crust. The campsite was well maintained. Bathrooms were vault toilets but clean. Each site had a fire pit, grill and cement table picnic table. We had 8 adults total and all of our tents fit onto our site. And even though it was a first come, first serve site, there were campsites open at noon. At the time of our visit the Blue Ridge Reservoir was closed so we didn't get to see the water but there were some spectacular views from campsites 20-30.
