The place to go for good buys on produce. The only drawback is that a majority of what's sold there is not grown locally -- it's from the same warehouses that sell to grocery stores. I once got what I thought was a great deal on garlic and then saw on the label that it was from China -- not a place I trust for my produce. So you may want to ask the seller where the produce comes from (if he knows). Anyway, if you go, be sure to get an empanada -- they are awesome!
This is a one stop shop for your grocery needs. The one time I went., I felt like a kid in a candy store. Lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. Fresh flowers, clothing, toys, gifts, cheese, bread, meats... The selection is great and prices are competive. They even have community type garage sales during the summer for my treasures.
What a great way to spend a Saturday (and they also do some Sunday flea markets and flower markets in the summer). Grab breakfast from one of the local vendors and then stroll between rows and rows of the freshest produce, honey, cheese, and pretty much what ever you could want! I also love the fact that almost every community also has their own smaller, local farmer's markets.
