This park has two playgrounds. One nautical themed playground for the younger kids and an animal themed playground for the older set.
There's an easy walking/biking trail  that meanders next to the Chattahoochee River.

"Nice park that is getting better"

I visited Riverside Park this morning for the first time and was amazed at some of the updates. There are two playgrounds at either end of the park. At this point, you can see that they are updating the one on the left. I don't know the details but it looks like it might be a water fountain that shoots up from the ground. Don't get your hopes up but it would be great if that is what it will be. There is also a new bridge that leads to a nice pier that overlooks the Chattahoochee River. Not huge, but very nice and safe.
