Inside this Gothic cathedral rests the largest carillon in the world, with a twenty-ton Bourdon hour bell, and seventy-three smaller ones, as well as an organ with 22,000 pipes. Climb to the bell tower for panoramic views of Manhattan. Across the street is the elaborate Grant’s Tomb and the answer to the riddle of who is buried there.
