Don't want to drive across the bridge and park in Camden (or Philly)?
Park your car at Penn's Landing and take the Riverlink Ferry across to Camden.
We have taken this ferry several times. The prices are not too bad and it is extremely easy to get to the dock from Philadelphia. The ferry drops you off at the riverfront in Camden right in between the Adventure Aquarium and the concert venue.
The ferry runs continuously all day and makes extra trips after concerts.
You can do the same trip in reverse- park in Camden and sail to Philly. Great views of the city and river!
If you find yourself in Philadelphia, PA or Camden, NJ I suggest you take the time to ride the Freedom Ferry. It takes about thirty minutes to cross the Delaware River, during which time you get great views of Philadelphia, Camden, the Battleship New Jersey, the Ben Franklin Bridge and much more. Not just a way to commute, it was a nice break for the grownups and so much fun for the kids. It’s also a convenient way to get to the Adventure Aquarium from Philadelphia, so keep it in mind as an option if only for that reason. Though I wouldn’t recommend it on a cold day, in spring it was very pleasant.
