I loves Ripleys believe it or not museum, mirror maze, haunted house, and moving theater. My boyfriend and I attended all four of these attractions during the Labor Day weekend of 09. We really enjoyed the museum and the mirror maze especially. We took lots of pics and just enjoyed being in walking distance to all of the Ripleys attractions. The love tester in the ripleys museum was very interesting as well. You just have to go there to know what I'm talking about. Believe me you will not be disappointed! I also recommend staying at the Breakers Resort which is on N Ocean Blvd in walking distance to other attractions as well.
My son and I really enjoy the motion master and the haunted house. Each year we go, we feel a need to go to the motion master to see if there are any new "movies" to ride. Usually there are, which makes this a repeat attraction to go to. The haunted house is fun, and not too scary. As an adult, I don't feel threatened as some haunted houses make me feel.
We went into the house of mirrors, which was pretty costly. We were able to find our way out in under five minutes. You could go through a second maze, but it was just the opposite end of the first one. You could also go in repeatedly, but once you figure it out the first time you know where to go, so what's the point.
We visited the mirror maze on our last visit to the Grand Strand. We really enjoyed it but I wish that we had had time to do at least one other Ripleys attraction so that we could take advantage of the combo ticket and get the most fun for our money. Stay close to the kiddoes as this attraction can be very disorienting.
When you go to myrtle beach you have to go see the Ripleys Attractions. They are fun for all ages young and old. There are many new things you have never seen before. The kids will love it! The aquarium is my favorit there are so many fish and sharks.
This is a fun aquarium for adults and children. The children enjoyed the pirate exhibit and touch pools for rays and small sharks. It is in a large outdoor mall with stores resturants and a few rides. Were there on an rainy day so I am sure that contributed, but it was busy. Huge lines to get in, we waited until they died down at meal time to go, but still waited 30+ minutes to get in the doors and once in some of the attractions were wall to wall people.
Oh my gosh, where do I start with fun things to do in myrtle Beach with the kids? There are so many, but to mention a few. Ripley's attractions...Haunted Adventure..very scarey, the Aquarium...great place for all ages, Believe it or Not Museum..great, Moving Theater..a bit rough on the ride & Mirror Maze..great for all. Thank you Ripley's for coming to Myrtle Beach with all your great attractions!!!
