Rincon is an amazing beach. There are great views from the picnic area cliffs of both the beach below and the parasailers above. They have bathrooms with running water as well as showers for rinsing after the day. The beach is a fine sand with lots of home built forts from drift wood. Its a paradise for surfers in the morning and families all day long.
At Rincon Point, surfing’s legendary mecca, known worldwide as “Queen of the Coast,” waves come down the Santa Barbara Channel, hit the corner, and wrap around the shore, creating awesomely “radical” surf, dude! If your kids aren’t surfers, they will still enjoy watching the sets and playing along the shore.
