Just visited here last weekend. Great place to take a walk and see an eclectic assortment of restaurants and stores. Crazy, horseshoe shaped pier with lots to look at. We especially liked the Fish Market. The kids got a kick out of see all the different sorts of alive, fresh, and frozen seafood. Of particular interest was the giant spider crab and the really red whole snappers.
The RB pier has it all! Food choices are limitless, ranging from fast food, casual to romantic. At Quality Seafood, you can have your seafood cooked to order. My little guy likes looking at the crabs in the tanks. Kincaid’s is more of a sit-down restaurant, possibly for a special occasion. If you eat here, a table by the window offers a great view. After a good meal, we like to stroll the boardwalk and marina. You can watch people fish (or go fishing yourself for free). My son likes to watch and chase the numerous seagulls and pigeons. You can also feed them, if you like. The Pier has various events throughout the year, such as the Kite Festival (March) and Chalk Festival (August) and free summer concerts. All in all, good family fun to be had by all at the Redondo Beach Pier.
A mix of beaches, shopping and entertainment in one location.
