The Rapids in West Palm Beach is the perfect smaller waterpark. It may be a bit smaller than some, but it holds every ride you would ask for in a water park! From a lazy river to intense water slides, it is truly fun for the whole family. Affordable fun as well, because the tickets are very fair. I would recommend, especially on a hot day!
I love the Rapids, it is a great little water park to visit, the admission is a little high, but it is a fun park. We were able to spend the whole day there and loved that there was a separate section of the wave pool for little kids to play in. My 3 year old had a blast in the wave pool and in the kids section of the park and I did not feel like I missed anything spending the day there. The lines for the slides got longer as the day progressed and we had to watch out for some rowdy teenagers, who felt they did not have to follow the rules of the waterpark. But the waterpark was decent sized and there was something for everyone in our group to do and have fun.
This is a great park for all ages. There is a kiddy area where water is barely at your ankles. The lazy river is a great way to relax with the little ones as well in a tube. For the older kids GREAT rides!! There are convenient lockers as you enter the park for all of your stuff. The entrance fee is quite pricey but well worth it!
It seems everytime I see or hear something about the Rapids it is getting bigger or they are adding something bigger and better.
I have been going to this water park for approx 14 years now and it started out with 2 slides with the circle pool of water and now it has expanded into a huge water park full of various pools and slides of all shapes and sizes. Great time for all ages.
If you are in the Palm Beach area I would recommend stopping by for the day!
This was a great family water park. Yes it was expensive, but it was a full day of fun. I do wish they had a junior admission price because my three year old cousin wasn't able to go on half the attractions and he was scared of a lot of stuff, so I definitely feel I wasted money on him. But there were plenty of little slides for the younger kids. It was very family friendly and there was more than enough to do to keep everyone happy for the whole day.
Cool off and splash down at Rapids Water Park. It soothes summer swelter with giant water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and a rain forest. Separate pools are designed for kids and adults.
