"Native CA plants and birds"

This place is a nice day activity.  I think anyone 2nd grade or older might like this a little more then my little kids.  They have some really neat events for bird watchers and how to manage native plants. Sometimes they even have had dinosaur fossil exhibits which were really cool.  Claremont is a great city and there are many places to eat very near the gardens.  Our personal favorite is just south of it called Wolfe's Market
