Adjacent to the university museum is the Ranching Heritage Center. This fourteen-acre site will give the kids a good idea about what pioneer life was like on the Llano Estacado as you wander around thirty-three structures that have been restored or relocated here. Buildings include a cowboy bunkhouse, windmills, barns, a school,and several homes.
