This was a lot of fun. We started out with a guided kayak trip up a river, then we beached the kayaks and went for a short hike up to Secret Falls. It was so beautiful and we never would have know about them without having done this! The guide was very knowledgeable about the island's history as well.
I wouldn't take my kids on this one because of the kayaking and the hike unless they were a little older. But kids as young as 7 could probably do the kayaking, it wasn't too labor intensive and the hike was really easy.
They offer four-and-a-half-hour excursions on the Wailua River that include ancient Hawaiian sites, hiking to Secret Falls, swimming, and a picnic.
