"Fun with the Family"

Housed in a restored depot, the museum has exhibits devoted to pioneer farm, ranch, and home life; tools; clothing; and the early days of railroading in Texas, including an old Santa Fe steam engine. Trains are honored in a big way at the Texas Train Festival in September, when the museum puts on special displays and demonstrations and Temple hosts a huge model train
show.
