Love that I can walk to this park, that it's nicely fenced in but the park district building is onsite for those emergency potty breaks, that the playground has two areas for toddler and older kids as well as swings for all ages. The ground is that cool recycled rubber bottom I just love. The cool extra is that there's also a fenced in area within the park that is a splash pad. It's the old school concrete bottom but it's free! and there's a little slide for the tikes, a big mushroom water umbrella thing, and some other water contraptions. The only complaint I have with that part is they don't open it until noon for the water and with my kids naps, I couldn't take advantage of it fully last year. But going to this year! Plus, I think the park district keeps it open til dusk in the summer months when it's sweltering.
