Pymatuming Park & Spillway

"We love to feed the carp!"

Pymatuming stretches over a large area of Jamestown ,PA and Ohio.  They have recently updated a boardwalk on the bridge overlooking the lake.  They have a hatchery that you can see the fish and have a guided tour. On the same causeway bridge as the hatchery is the famous Linesville "spillway."   This is the highlight of out trip with the kids so excited to "feed the carp!"   There are large 4 foot long carp all swimming in a circular area of the spillway.  There are so many cary looking for food, that the ducks can walk on their backs!  You can buy bread at the concession stand for feeding, but we bring our own.  The boys LOVE this activity!
