"Roller Coaster fun"
If you can believe it, my husband begged to go to the roller coaster. Yes, my husband.
It's old but fun!. The have an amazing outlet near by with options fo the whole family (From Coach to Old Navy and Carters)
It's a good place to stop on your way to or back from Vegas If you don't mind the 70's-looking rooms (they are very cheap) or bad hotel food. HOWEVER, If you have a chance try the Mad Greek restaurant (you will see signs everywhere) It's AMAZING!.

"Love this roller coaster!"
We had a great time at this casino on our way to vegas. The roller coaster is like what I imaging traveling through hyper speed might feel like. It is old but so much fun! I recommend going here after your trip o your way back to Cali and not on your way to vegas. I find that the jolt of the coaster does not make for a fun experience in a strange bed.
There are tons of other fun things to do in this casino and there is good shoping nearby.

"great set of casinos and family activities"
Prim Valley Resorts are a great set of resorts right at the California / Nevada State Line. Between some great casinos, nighttime entertainment and the coaster at Buffalo Bills it's a nice weekend getaway. The best part about these hotels is the fact that rooms are very cheap even compared to Vegas and if you want to go into Vegas for the day its a quick 40 minute drive. There is enough for kids to do at the pools and arcade that the whole family can have fun.
