"Fun with the Family"

Up and over the hills to a small redwood forest, a moderately strenuous walk that takes about an hour and passes through meadows, over creeks, and under shade trees, with coastal views all the way. At the top hikers are rewarded with a redwood grove and creek, a perfect picnic spot. The path goes on from here to the Russian River and the Pomo/Miwok Campground.
