Ask for the Kid’s Scavenger Hunt.Fun with the Family This property was initially a sheep farm; in 1926 the Butcher family (Polly’s parents) purchased forty acres of the farm. Polly eventually inherited the property, and she acquired twenty more acres, increasing the size of the piece to its present sixty acres. Polly planted seeds and nurtured plants that weren’t native to the Vineyard, and through natural selection and crossbreeding, she got a hardier stock that was able to survive the harsh conditions of Vineyard soil and climate. Your family is free to roam and discover the famous North Tisbury azaleas, the Tunnel of Love, and the Dogwood Allee. No pets please.
