"Neat little place to drop in..."

The Pocono Indian Museum is a neat little place to drop by if you are in the area and are interested in this sort of thing. It is a small attraction, so don't plan on spending too much time there. But the displays are really good, and souvenir shop has some neat items in it. The price is a bit high for the legnth of time you are there though, and kids generally don't get much out of it until they are a bit older- at least 8 or so.

"Fun with the Family"

The Pocono Indian Museum is the only museum in Pennsylvania dedicated to por-traying the life and times of the Delaware Indian. Its six rooms display artifacts, weapons, and tools, most of which were unearthed within a 20-mile radius of themuseum. There’s a reconstructed bark house you can actually walk through. Your admission includes a thirty-minute taped, self-guided tour.
