"Nice variety but pricey"

The variety of animals in this smaller sized zoo is great. It is a bit expensive for a family. The staff is phenomenal and will answer any question. Each time we've been there we've been taken on private, behind the scenes tours of different animals we're interested in. Go, bring a picnic, stay the day and make it worth the price of admission.

"My kids loved the Zoo"

I took my boys 6 and 8, and they loved it.  Feeding the Alpacas was a real highlight of the trip for the boys !Plus they have a Giraffe, monkeys and a lot more. They also have a huge snake in the reptile house. We are definitely going back. There is a really nice shady picnic area so next time I am going to pack lunch for a nice picnic. I might wait outside the reptile house for the boys this next time though.

"zoo not as good as it should be"

i took a small group of kids to the zoo and it wasnt as near of a memory that i remember, the kids had a blast, some of them thought the animals were giant toys, but as an adult it wasnt as spacious as i would of liked, i got lost and walked around the same circle twice and by the end of it the kids were complaining the rocks were hurting their feet through their shoes.

"great day in the sun"

we really enjoyed this zoo!  it was not so big that it was overwhelming for our 2 yr old and our 6 month old.  my daughter had such a blast with all of the animals and the peacocks that roamed free!  she especially loved that she got to feed the giraffe!  it was the perfect size for the little ones!

"Small but qaint"

This small zoo is great to do with small children because its shady and easy to manuever with little to no crowds! It has a playground so bring a packed lunch and make a day out of your visit. Not to be missed the peacocks that roam free and pass you while yo explore.

"Great Local Zoo"

This is a really neat little local zoo. If you are looking for a day out with the family where you can get up close with the animals this is it. Most animals are within hands reach of children, so keep the little ones in the stroller. There is not a paved path, but a rocky path so be prepared. Bring a lunch and play at the park located within the zoo.
