Playday For The Raptors   SEPT 17th, 2011   Edora Park, Fort Collins    9 to 4   (next to Epic Ice & Pool Center)
If you want to share some fun time with the kids in your life then join us at the "Playday For The Raptors"  children's festival. The event is open to the public, with affordable tickets for kids games and activities! Lots of super prizes! Meet the magnificent raptors and their knowledgeable "handlers"! Yes, the birds will be there!
The day will also be jam packed with old fashioned outdoor games (with super prizes) the whole family can do (geared for 5-13 year olds): a Cupcake Cruiser musical walk, Ft Collins Nursery bean bag toss, pinata game, egg and spoon race, fire brigade relay, scavenger hunt, Home Team Lending duckie pond, water balloon toss, ring toss, tug of war, GK Gymnastics sack races and more! There will be a "paint a suncatcher" table,  a giant chalk mural, a Foodies Culinary School owl mask activity and other arts & crafts. TimFoolery, the magician, is coming to give a magic show, The Best Face Painters, a climbing wall, giant inflatable slide, Kidzfit jumpcastle and Crackerjack the storyteller & Colorado Eagle's Mascot "Slapshot" will be there as well. It will be super fun day!  
Lots of super kids game prizes donated by Elitch Gardens, Boondocks Fun Center, Denver's Wilderness Experience, Carmike Theatres, Fort Fun, Christy Sports, Cinemark Theatres, Chippers Lanes, Pump It Up, Weld Family Chiropractic and more!  
There will be a Silent Auction for the adults with items donated: Ft Collins Hilton Overnight Stay in deluxe king suite & breakfast for two, Denver Broncos Autographed John Elway Print,  Ft Collins Hilton High Tea for four, Ranch-Way Feeds Bag of Dog Food and pooper-scooper, Ranch-Way Feeds Bag of Bird Seed, Nordy's BBQ gift certificates and other super items up for bid!

Lots of interesting booth vendors who serve parents, youth and families will be there. Bring a blanket and have a picnic. Festival food and ice cold non-alcoholic drinks will be available for a picnic in this beautiful green park.
The festival proceeds go to assist the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program in Fort Collins, CO. This wildlife hospital rescues and takes in injured and sick eagles, hawks, owls, falcons and abandoned baby raptors. They provide medical care (with CSU vets), rehabilitation, shelter, food and exercise in hopes of possible release back into the wild. Last year they had an 88% release rate!
So mark Sept 17th, 2011 on your calendar, Playday For the Raptors, Sept 17th, 2011 at Edora Park in Fort Collins, CO. 9:00 to 4:00    Admission is open to the public with affordable kids games and activity tickets. (next to Epic Ice Rink and Pool)
