The Pirates Dinner Adventure wasn't our favorite thing on our trip. The food wasn't good and the show was okay. When we bought our tickets we saw that there was a cheaper option for just the show and no food and we wish we would have done that instead and saved some money.
We took our two year old to this show and were miserable the whole time. It was loud and he got scared. The food was terrible. I lost interest in the show within 10 minutes. The best thing I can say about it was acrobatics were interesting. Not worth the money or time it takes to go. Would definitely not go back or advise anyone to go.
This is a fun for all dinner theater. The food is good, the entertainment is better. The price is reasonable. My family and I have been 6 or more times and it is always a must do with out of town guests. I also recommend it to friends and family vacationing in Orlando.
This is lots of fun for kids and adults, but you must be an active participant. We were the blue team. You need to sit and cheer for your team when you’re told or when you feel it's necessary. My nephew was chosen to go in the boat and be part of the fun. It was a great time, and the food was okay. There were chicken and potatoes. It wasn’t bad, and there were very large servings for kids
OK, we all have our own preferences, likes and dislikes....but I am here to give my opinion! My family did not enjoy Pirates and we felt as if it was the biggest waste of time of our entire vacation. The show was not funny and the food was even worse. Now I know these shows are not known for the food - but compared to others - this did not measure. It is all about the show and for my family - we just did not get into the entire event and as a matter of fact, we almost walked out! My children were 12 and 13 at the time. If your children just LOVE pirates - they might get into the show. However, I probably would not chance the admission price. There are other good shows in Orlando that are more deserving of your hard earned cash!
The newest in the genre of dining experience pits swashbuckling buccaneers against one another in competition and mutiny (with feigned acts of hand-to-hand violence). The audience participates in the fun; children from the audience are used in many scenes. The stage is a floating pirate’s brig. Entertainment is musical and dramatic with feats of circus like skill. Dinner is a multicourse affair, with special kids’ meals available and freely poured beverages (beer, wine, and cola—you can request some-thing without caffeine for the kids). Before and after the show, you are treated to entertainment and partying with the pirates.
My husband took our nieces and nephew to the Pirate's Dinner Adventure and he got to be part of the show. Many members of the audience are chosen to participate. The kids got a kick out of the set and realistic pirate and wench costumes. The food was nothing special for the price.
