Pipe Spring National Monument gives families a chance to learn about the Kaibab Paiute Indians and Mormon pioneers. Junior Ranger program available.
This is a great piece of history. There is a fort where the local people would gather to be protected from Indians. I always enjoy stepping into history. It was fun to tour the fort and see all of the old furniture. This is a very interesting place to visit as well as a fun place for the kids. There are farm animals that my two young children enjoyed. There are also activities for the children at the visitor center. The surrounding scenery of red hills is breathtaking! Pipe Spring National Monument is definitely a place that is worth visiting.
