Visit the park using any one of the three entrances - two on 125th St. and one on Walsingham Road.
We go to Heritage Park (part of the cultural park) often with our kids. The really enjoy being able to explore the old houses and businesses. We often pack a lunch and enjoy an ice cold coke in a bottle from the general store (Only $1 per botttle in cash) This is a wonderful piece of history.
Spend a day immersed in history, nature, and art. Two bridges and three separate entrances lead to this twenty-one-acre park, which includes a village of living hitory, multicolored themed gardens, and a new museum featuring outdoor sculture and contemporary Florida artists. At Heritage Village, tour guides dress the part of twentieth-century pioneers and lead you through family homes, a one-room schoolhouse, general store, blacksmith shop, and more than a dozen other historic structures.
