I took my daughter to this event she was 4 years Old at the time. She was truly excited every child was, but the groups of kids were not divided well, there were visibly older kids at the smaller kids designated egg hunting area and kids too small to egg hunt at all, and they were all at the 2 to 4 year old area, the adults were instructed not to enter the field, to let the kids do it on their own, as soon as they gave the go for the kids to hunt for eggs the ignorant and inconsiderate parents flooded the fields, I lost my daughter in the crowd and chaos, when I found her she was crying and disappointed of the 26,000 eggs she managed to pick up 5. And YES the eggs are cleaned up in matter of about a minute or two... I made a complaint, and the reaction that I got was they have tried and failed to change this outcome. Well I've gone to two other events two years in a row, and the crowd is more friendlier and the events are well put together and the outcomes are excellent.. I'm just disappointed I'm a resident of Pembroke pines I will still continue to attend this events in hopes that it gets better...but if there is another event at the same time I'd rather past on this event!
I had taken my kids there every year when they were young. They are now 32 and 29. This year I'll be taking my grandkids. Great Fun. The city of Pembroke Pines knows how to make things happen. You have to see it to believe it. There are thousands upon thousands of eggs. And when they say GO, it looks like a human vacuum cleaner just sucking up the eggs. It's amazing.
