Since its inception, the Philadelphia Folk Festival has been the premier presentation event for the Philadelphia Folksong Society.
Over 5,000 people camp for the weekend at the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Camping is by weekend pass only and you must have a camping ticket to enter the campgrounds.
The Philadelphia Folk Festival is a family-friendly event. Children under age 12 are admitted at no charge to all concerts; children under age 5 are admitted at no charge to the campgrounds. Many family-centered activities are available throughout the day at the Festival.
