The Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum is all about the excitement of Little League Baseball and Softball. The Little League Museum is full of pictures, displays, films and exhibits about the players, equipment, history, rules, the all-around fun of Little League, as well as information on issues facing children today. This combination is meant to both entertain and educate visitors.

The Peter J. McGovern Little League Baseball Museum traces the history of LittleLeague from its founding in 1939 to the present, when millions of children in scoresof countries participate in the program. There are interactive displays and batting and pitching cages with instant replay monitors so that kids can see themselves on “instant replay.” You can watch highlights of the Little League World Series—a truly international sporting event that takes place here each August. The Hall of Excellence includes tributes to such famous former Little Leaguers as Tom Seaver, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, columnist George Will, and former New Jersey Senator Bill Bradley.
