"love it"
I love going to sporting events! and the new petco park is so nice. If you take kids they have a grassy area you can take them to run around and run of steam. also the padres offer a lot of family events such as family night where kids can run the bases
We like to go when they have a family day or special promotion for coming. They have kids night where the child will recieve a free gift (like a baseball glove)

"Great Ballpark for Everyone!"
This is a great ball park to enjoy the game. There is a small grassy are behind centerfeild where yiou can site and watch the kids play around, they even have a jumboton to watch the game from back there. The cheapest seat are $5 and they are bleacher in the back of the stadium. The on negative thing I would say is I am deatly afraid of hieghts so I have never made it past the second level of escalators! It looks pretty scary as you are looking out at sky scrappers eye to eye and nothing to keep you in....just an FYI

"Great for Families! "
The padres aren't playing well this year, but the stadium is absolutely beautiful and so much fun. They have a great 5 for $5 deal, where you get a hot dog, a soda, peanuts, popcorn, and a cookie all for just $5. They have a nice lawn out behind center field for families to "park" on park on for cheap. There are activites for the kids as well, but cost extra $. We had a good time, although my 1 year old didn't sit still very well for the game... as expected.
