Come take a self-guided tour and see how trout are raised each year for stocking the public waters of NJ. The exhibit hall contains both live and mounted fish and wildlife, including an exhibit of NJ endangered wildlife. Kids will find the interactive displays fun AND educational.
Take advantage of the hiking trails including the interpretive Natural Resources trail. Picnic area available.
Hiking, fishing, birding and even hunting opportunities are available on the Pequest Wildlife Management Area. Educational programs offered.
This is a great event! They have lots of activities for kids and a great introduction to fishing and outdoor sports. They explain how fish are hatched then stocked in rivers. There are demonstrations of archery and skeet shooting. Free event but bring some money for the flea market.
