Pentagon

The tour route is approximately one mile in length and lasts for approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Each tour consists of more than 20 pages of script that cover 20 items of interest to include the mission of the Department of Defense and each of its branches of service, and numerous displays that highlight and depict significant moments in military history.
 
All guided tours of the Pentagon are free and are available by reservation only. Tours are conducted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tours are not conducted on weekends or federal holidays.
 
All tour requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance and no more than three months prior to the requested tour date. There are no exceptions to this rule.
