"Swimming Bliss"

This public pool is one of the best I have been to!  It has a gradual entrance (not a zero entry but very close to it) and has sections roped off for different ability levels.  This makes it nice for really little ones as well as older children who want to be able to splash and such and not have to worry about little ones.  There are also lap lanes dedicated for those who wish to do laps.  It has a spectacular view of Portsmouth Harbour.

There are several lifeguards posted at key spots and they are quite attentive.  There is a grassy area and some shade, which makes it nice for those who need to get out of the sun.  The pool is open every afternoon from the last week of June until the end of August and has swimming lessons every weekday morning.
