A great educational museum, that is smaller in size. Plenty of prehistoric creatures to see--as well as a large light up globe to help little ones with geography. Well thought out taxidermy exhibits, with a special emphasis on birds that is fascinating. There is a special childrens' area, that has some live lizards, insects, fish, snakes. The museum is handicapped accessible. Parking is a bit problematic, as they share a lot with another Yale building, severely limiting parking. The parking issue is what caused me to lower my rating--the lot was a mess, and there was no handicapped parking for the museum because certain sections of the lot were blocked off by chains. That notwithstanding, it is a really great place. They offer a museum membership which allows for access to several other museums in the US.
