Our preschool takes the kids here at the end of each year to pick strawberries, feed some of their animals, and go on a wagon ride. We enjoy it so much that this year we went even though it was a very wet day! The kids love seeing the animals, especially the babies, and picking strawberries was a big hit too! We didn't get to pick our own this year because of the rain, which was very disappointing to the kids, but we got some pre-picked to take home instead. Awesome people, awesome strawberries, and a fun place to visit. They even have a picnic shelter and playground!
I've taken my daughter to Patterson's Farm the last two years to pick strawberries. She LOVES it. It's a great price for what you get. There's a tractor ride around the property, a puppet show, petting zoo and chance to feed the animals, a playground and of course the strawberries! It's definitely something we look forward to every year!
Patterson Farm is one of our favorite places to visit. In the Spring we pick our own strawberries and in the Fall we look forward to the hayride and chosing our own pumpkins! They also grow a large variety of other fruits and veggies and plants that are available for purchase in their market store, including tomatoes, squash and even poinsettias!
Our kids especially enjoy the petting farm and trying to spot the to EMUS they have living on the farm!
