Great park, dumb rules!
Ok, so you rent an umbrella at the water park for $75 and you are not allowed to bring pizza, or coolers. So in essence, you are forced to buy food and drinks from their vendors inside the park. Which, by the way, had over 22 restaurant inspection violations in the last two years, such as
1) "Observed buildup of slime in the interior of ice machine"
2) "Observed grease accumulated on mop sink's floor."
3) "Wet wiping cloth not stored in sanitizing solution between uses."
See the violations for yourself: (http://www.ledgerdata.com/restaurant-inspections/broward/tobys-at-cb-smith-park/nos1616653/).
f I pay $75 for to sit an area where a party is being hosted, I should be allowed to bring whatever food I wish to bring! Ridiculous.
Oh yeah, not to mention they close the park if it thunders and they do not give you your money back.
For starters, they have a strictly enforced "No Refund" policy. If the park closes due to inclement weather conditions, you get a rain-check. They have no exceptions to this policy. We literally paid, walked in and got evacuated within minutes - we never even made it to the park. This happened on the last day the park was open for the remainder of the year. So, they offered us a rain check for the following year. Why did allow us to pay and enter the park minutes before they enforced an evacuation? Their answer: they had no idea they would be closing in a couple of minutes. Right! They refused to give us a refund and that was that! By the way, their "no refund" policy is not posted on their website, nor is it posted at the gate where we had to pay an additional fee of $1.50 per person in the car.

Paradise Cove is a water adventureland at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines.
The features include two large water playgrounds, two 450-foot water slides, and a meandering rushing water tube ride. One of the two water playgrounds is designed for toddlers and the other is designed for ages 5 and up. This aquatics facility is a phenomenal family adventure.
