The Palisades is a shopping mall that offers retail, restaurants and movies.
Be prepared to walk and don't forget your stroller like we did! There are tons of restuarants, stores, and kiosks to peruse as well as a movie theater, an Imax theatre, a skating rink, as well as a bowling alley. If your family likes to shop, this is the place for you!
I don't have kids but I have seen people bring their kids trick o treating in the mall during halloween (this is a yearly thing). Provides a safe alternative to taking the kids outside, especially since it was raining this year, but the mall was super crowded.
We went to the Palisades Center for the first time last year after a birthday party since we were in the area. I had heard good things about the Palisades center so I wanted to check it out for myself. I was not disappointed. There was so much to see. The kids had a blast. I needed to pickup a few things at Target, so i was happy to see that they had one there. There are so many eateries to choose from, it is so hard to decide where to go. My husband still talks about going back so we can go to Dave and Buster's.
This mall has a number of kids stores including Lego, Disney Store (many of the others in the area have closed), Build-a-bear, Robotgalaxy, as well as many kids clothing stores. There is an IMAX theater, an ice rink, and Krazy City. Not just a place to shop! Be warned that it is very difficult to find a parking spot during the winter!
This is one of the main shopping malls in the Palisades area of NY. Many people from New Jersey shop here as well. They have an IMAX theatre, Macys, Target to name a few large stores. The mall also has a Lego Store and a whole listing of other stores you typically see in other malls. Lots of different eateries and since the mall is open 7 days a week, this is what lures the Jersey crowd. Lucky Strikes, lounge bowling is another big draw for the mall.
