Opened in 2007, the Pacifica Skate Park is perfect for skaters young and old.  The setting is beautiful with views of the Pacific Ocean.  Parking at the community center is ample except on beautiful sunny days when the surfing crowd swells.  Make sure to equip your child with safety equipment.

"Great for skaters and non-skaters"

This is a cool place to hang out whether you skate or not.  There are almost always skaters practicing on the ramps - at all hours of the day.  They are usually nice young people who will answer questions and give each other pointers.  Whether you skate or not, it is fun to hang out and watch everyone and pick up some tips.  If you plan on skating - WEAR A HELMET.  Besides the safety issue, Pacifica police routinely swing by and hand out costly tickets to the unhelmeted skaters.
