"Swimming!"

We started our daughter in swimming lessons as soon as she was six months. This is such a great way to bond with your baby as well as build swimming skills. At the end of 12 weeks our baby could kick her feet and do the arm movements. The only downside was that the classes started at 10 AM and our baby normally didn't wake up til 11 or 12.

"Summer water fun!"

During the summer, Corvallis is a hot place.  So where can families go during the day to cool off?  The Osborn Aquatic Center is a great place for all ages.  And it is inexpensive, too.  The outdoor area, "otter beach", has water games, slides, and a pool.  The water slide is the second longest slide at a public swimming pool in the state!
