"Fun, fun, fun!"

The OSC is a great spot to take your kids, no matter the age. There is something there for everyone to enjoy. Plus, they have dinosaur bones and what kid doesn't love dinosaur bones? The bottom floor has a great interactive area where kids can splash around in water tables, transport oranges and crawl in a tree (and under it!). There is a great room on the main floor where you can let little ones explore (and its a great spot to  nurse if you need to). Beware of school field trips because they can take the whole place over. Best time to visit is early in the am. Great place and tons of stuff to do.

"Fun Saturday Activity 10+"

Ahh...the science center. I grew up going on a yearly field trip there while in Elementary school (20 years ago! Yikes!) and they have done a good job keeping it fresh and current for today's kids. The IMAX theater is too loud and too overwhelming for the little ones. If your kids are under 10, this is a fun "few hour" stop. If you have older kids, this would be a great place to really explore and dive into science. We really love walking through the body (in through the giant mouth and out through the.....) Dino exhibits are always a fav, as is the small land, designed for kids only. The main floor with the bulk of activities can be a little crowded and bigger kids run wild. So it's a little hard with toddlers to not let them get lost in the shuffle. Overall, it's a fun place that really tries hard to keep current!

"Great Saturday Fun!"

The Orlando Science center could use a little updating but still has great activities for the kids that make learning fun. My husband loves the theatre although my daughter doesn't like loud noises and the volume is pretty loud. The kids play zone has been a favorite for years. We also enrolled in one of the summer camps last year. I was a little disappointed with the content but my daughter loved it. She was 5 at the time so I am hoping that the science/learning side of the camps  is better in the older age groups.

"Great Hands on museum"

This is a great hands on museum, not to mention a great alternative to the world of Disney.  There is so much to learn and do at this museum.  A great place to take the kids when Disney isn't a choice.  Be sure to check out the alligators.  You can get up close and personal with them!

"Not so entertaining"

We went with our daughter last year. I can not remember what we paid but it was much more than it was worth. Our daughter was only 1 but our friends children were 7 & 11 and were ready to go just an hour after arriving. I remember it being better when I was a kid. Definitely sounds like a more enjoyable time than it was.

"Disney diversion"

We headed to the science center on the second week of our 2 week Orlando vacation. The kids enjoyed the center with hands on science activities. We were happy that the museum was in a state of good repair as often many exhibits in these museums are out of order. We were also happy that with a reciprocal program with our local science center that admission was free. Check your memberships at local museums to verify reciprocal agreements. There are set exhibits dealing with dinosaurs, animals and the physical sciences. There are also touring exhibits that change. Lastly there is an area specifically designed for the younger set. We spent the entire day here and still did not see it all. Additionally  there is an art museum right next door with a nice garden and sculptures if you are so moved.

"Lots of things"

My son loved this place! There are so many things to do and see in this one place. Each room has something different.. My sons favorite was the kidsroom of course. We literally had to drag him out of there lol. The science park was awesome.. so much to learn in just that one room. No matter where you were you were having fun & learning all at once. Great for all ages!

"Fun and Learning"

No matter what age you are you will enjoy it.  Our day was filled with fun and learning.  Check there website www.osc.org for special offers, we were able to get in for free by donating old cell phones.  I would suggest packing a little lunch, there prices are a little high personally

"Great Family membership"

We love the family membership for around 100 you can go as often as you like throughout the year , the are also nice enough to include extra tickets and the
Imax is included as well as all their special events.
The only thing lately is the prices of their food have gone up , they do have a great selection.  One nice benifit is the other science centers you can visit for free, Like MOSI in tampa.

"Fun with the Family"

With all the flash and spark of Orlando, it winds you around four floors of touch, poke, and play exhibits. Lift a Volkswagen Beetle, walk into a giant mouth, spin a cloud, stick your head into a tornado, and stand inside a kaleidoscope. There’s a special Kid’s Town, where no one over 48 inches tall is allowed to enter. NatureWorks takes a walk on the wild side. Other exhibits include 1-2-3 Math, Physics Park, BodZone, and Light Power. CineDome theater projects in-the-round films on a screen eight stories high, and live shows take place in the Adventure Theater. Some of the exhibits and the observatory present special programs, and traveling exhibits visit. Exhibits and programs were designed to meet school curriculum requirements. There’s a lot to see here—it outlasts the attention spans of children under age ten.
