Opry Mills is the Nashville outlet mall folks go to. Stores include Nike Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5TH, Bass Pro Shops, Gap Outlet, Bose Factory Store, XXI Forever, Ann Taylor Factory Store, and Old Navy. Entertainment venues and themed restaurants including Rainforest Cafe, Aquarium Restaurant, Regal/IMAX Cinemas and Dave & Buster's.
We hit this mall on the way home from a trip. It was an excellent place to stretch our legs and get something to eat after being in the car for such a long time. We did some serious shopping and went home with lots of new clothes and shoes! Next time we travel through this area will we definitely stop again! It was a good distraction for the younger ones too. Eating at the Rainforest Cafe was a great idea because there was so much to look at. Waiting for food was easier with all those distractions. We were hoping for a play area, but Rainforest and a Carousel ride were enough of a stopover.
If you are looking for a full day of shopping and fun for the family, Opry Mills is a good place to go! We went before the 2010 flood, so this review is based on what was there. I would call ahead before going just to be sure the places you want to go are open for business. Find the latest fashions and get a bite to eat the the Rainforest Cafe!
I absolutely love this place. It is huge!! It has lots of fun snack and eating places. I could spend days in this place. It has so many different outlet stores for all different kinds of people. There are lots of different places to stay around opry mills as well. It is conviently located to the interstate and it has a Bass Pro shop for the men and kids!!
While this mall doesn't have an official play space, it does have plenty to keep kids and parents occupied. Dave and Busters has fun games that will entertain kids as soon as they can throw a skeeball. The Aquarium and Rainforest Cafe are visually amazing and will hold any child's attention through dinner. Plenty of fun shopping spots like Sanrio Surprises, Build A Bear, Bass Pro Shop, etc. The food court has a beautiful carousel that is $2 per ride. Plenty of clean restrooms w/ baby changing stations. You will even find a little train toting kids through the mall.
This is one of my kids favorite malls. I love the outlet atmosphere being inside a mall and we love to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. It is a bit pricey but the decor and rainforest show that happens while you eat makes it worth while. There are usually affordable souvenirs for the kiddos in the gift shop there as well.
If you are bored and just want to get out for the day, this is always a good option. But plan to bring some cash. My kids especially love stingray reef and dave and busters. Rainforest cafe and aquarium restaraunt are nice places for a meal, and the kids are entertained. Just be careful when you go, weekends are packed no matter the season. Tons of shopping, movies, something really for everyone.
this place is amazing...you cant visit nashville and not stop by one of the largest malls you will find in Tennessee... lots of parking and right at the grand ole opry. You can find anything and everything. and make sure you stroll over to the gaylord opryland hotel... it is sooo gorgeous inside.
This mall has lots of great stores and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant is the Rainforest Cafe. It's the only one in the state of Tennessee.
There is a large Bass Pro Shop there too. My daughter loved looking at the fish in their fish tank. You can get up close for a good view.
The parking is good too and well numbered so you won't forget where you parked. lol
The teens will be okay going to this mall with the parents because once there they can wander around on their own and potentially never run into the parents! The Gibson Showcase will keep music lovers entertained for a long time. Test out the instruments or watch them work on the guitars. Stop for a treat at The Apple Barn Cider Mill and General Store. The apple cider is absolutely delicious!
