Open Door Church is in a brand new facility in South San Mateo.  It has an open, seeker friendly feel with a good cafe and welcoming atmosphere.  The nursery is clean and thoughtfully designed.  Spaces for the older kids are full of toys and creative touches like chalkboard walls.  Angela Radford, the children's ministry director, is very well organized and does an excellent job running the programs.  A few times a year, the church organizes a "Parent's Nigh Out" with free childcare.  Angela and Co. put on a big spread for the kids, with lots of arts and crafts stations, a pizza buffet and a movie.  Babies can be put to bed in the quiet and darkened nursery.  It's an awesome ministry for parents, and very much appreciated.
