"Fun with the Family"

Running parallel to the Hudson River is a popular, more-than-150-year-old hiking trail perfect for families. This 26-mile-long linear park is the result of New York City’s need for clean water, and the Croton watershed became the chosen source. Considered one of the greatest engineering feats of the nineteenth century, it provides a wide, level, and grassy path that meanders past nineteenth-century estates and historic churches of eleven communities.
