"Cape Henry"

The Cape Henry Lighthouse is a great historic attraction in an absolutely beautiful location. Very close to the settler's first landing, there is a lot of history here. The climb up to the top is fairly easy, and the view from the top is incredible. It's worth spending some time looking around the gift shop and learning about the lighthouses.

"Fun with the Family"

This lighthouse, built in 1791, marked the entrance to the Chesapeake Bay until 1881. The lighthouse is open for tours and climbs to the top. The lighthouse is closed (except for the gift shop) from early December until after the holidays, during which time the entire lighthouse is decorated as a Christmas tree with a star in its lantern.
