This is a smaller museum but there isn't a whole lot offer for smaller children in the Northwoods, so it is perfect for the little kids to be able to have some fun! I would recommend as this is a nice place to cool down in the summer, they have certain exhibits along with the price being just right. love it and would go back!!!!!!!
This is a small children's museum in the far northern part of Wisconsin, where there is not a lot of other things for children to do on a vacation. In that respect it is great.
But it is extremely small and it does not have a lunchroom. My kids still managed to find plenty to do, but I found myself bored.
The art area is great and has projects you can pay extra to do. I find it funny that my daughter loves playing with the castle and figurines, which are toys that are sold in the gift shop of course.
When compared to other museums, this one is just average. But when you are in the area, it's worth going to, esp. if you have a reciprocal membership.
This museum was a very pleasant surprise! It's all in one room, so kids can be doing various activities and you're able to supervise them all. There are unique things to the northwoods area, like fishing and a ranger tower, as well as dressup clothes, and ambulance, and other creative areas. The building's not impressive from the outside, but inside there's a fun place for kids!
