The New Amsterdam Theatre is a Broadway theatre located at 214 West 42nd Street in the heart of Times Square in New York City. It is operated by Disney Theatrical Productions, and is currently showing the musical Mary Poppins. Children under 4 years are not permitted in the auditorium.

"Outstanding Theatre!"

The first time I ever went to the New Amsterdam Theatre was with my children to see the Mary Poppins broadway show! I've got to say that not only is this theater beautiful and spotless, it also has some of the nicest workers that I've seen in a broadway theatre. They are very kid-friendly and have personalities that make you want to have a conversation with them. I should also mention also that this theatre shows one of the best shows on broadway at the time! Don't pass up Mary Poppins @ the New Amsterdam Theatre.
