"Fun with the Family"

The Nevada State Railroad Museum here displays more than two dozen restored railroad cars and locomotives. On “steam-up” weekend, visitors can hop aboard one of the historic trains and take a twentyminute, 1-mile ride with a conductor who spins tales of early railroading days. The facility, at 400 Carson Road in Carson City (702–333–4550), is open daily; adults $, children under 18 admitted free.

"Trains are always fun!"

We had a great time.  There are several old diesel and steam trains to view and climb on.   We especially liked the train ride around the museum and park.   I recommend visiting the railroad museum if you are in the area with your family.
