"A Number of Hands-on Exhibits"

This museum has a number of hands-on exhibits, such as games and push-button displays, to help explain natural history and also features a puppet theater; a butterfly pavilion; an exhibit called Insect Alley; a live animal room that includes owls, snakes, and other nocturnal creatures; and a nature trail. You’ll also want to see the talking Grandpa Tree, a mechanical replica of a tree that helps explain some of nature’s wonders during special programs that are held nearly every weekend.
