Not the greatest place for kids. It was pretty expensive. And then our little son got bored with all the art (we thought he might like it because it was animals, but he did not). The view is amazing, but yet again, our son did not see the greatness in it either :)
The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole does indeed have beautiful art, but there is NOTHING to occupy/interest young children, so it is difficult to study the art for very long before they are ready to find a new adventure. If you do decide to go, think about finding an alternative activity for the children.
Although our son is not yet old enough to fully enjoy the museum (or maybe it was us, worried about which exhibits he could touch or not), he did like looking around for a little while. However, our older nephew and niece really enjoyed tracking the animals through the museum and the hands on gallery where they were painting that day.
